Before cooking, you need to do aku-nuki, which is harshness removal.
1. Rub fukis with plenty of salt.
2. Let fukis sit for an hour.
3. Boil fukis with salt for a minute.
4. Then put them in cold water.
5. Peel the skin.
After aku-nuki, you are ready to cook them.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon of oil
1 lb of fukis (cut them into an inch)
4 tablespoons of sugar
4 tablespoons of soy sauce
1. Heat oil in a pan over high heat, and stir-fry them.
2. Add sugar and soy sauce, and stir them until water evaporates.
3. Enjoy!
