Recipe : Chanpuru (ゴーヤーチャンプルー)



Chanpuru

Ingredients

3 bitter melon (sliced)
1/2 pound of sliced pork
1 egg
1 tablespoon of miso
1 tablespoon of ground sesame seeds
1 tablespoon of mirin, which is sweet cooking rice wine
a little sugar
a little soy source
a little hondashi
1 tablespoon of sesame oil ( for step one )
1 tablespoon of sesame oil ( for step three )


1. Heat sesame oil and pork in pan over high heat. Fry meat until it is thoroughly cooked.
2. Then, add bitter melon. Fry them for 5 minutes.
3. Turn off the heat. Then, add miso, sesame seeds, mirin, sugar, soy source, hondashi and sesame oil. Stir them well. If you need, add salt and pepper.
4. Heat them over medium heat. Beat the egg and stir it in.
5. Enjoy!
