Ingredients
1/2 pound of beef (sliced thinly)
2 pound of potatoes (cut into bite-size pieces)
1/2 pound of carrots (cut into bite-size pieces)
1 pound of onions (cut into bite-size pieces)
2 tablespoon of grated garlic
1 tablespoon of oil
1 cup of water
2 tablespoon of sugar
2 tablespoon of mirin, which is sweet cooking rice wine
2 tablespoon of soy sauce
2 tablespoon of soy sauce ( for last step)
1. Heat oil and garlic in pan over high heat. Fry meat until it is thoroughly cooked.
2. Then, add potatoes and carrots. Fry them for 5 minutes.
3. Then, put onions on them. Add water, sugar, mirin and soy sauce in pan. Cover and simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes.
4. Stir them, and add soy sauce.
